Protecting extended perimeters, remote installations and large areas of public land runs into the same problems everywhere: the ground has never been measured properly, the imagery is old by the time it arrives, and the records that would show what changed sit in systems that do not speak to each other.

Ground nobody has measured

Access routes, drainage and sight lines around a protected site are worked out from charts drawn before the vegetation grew, and a ground team cannot safely survey where it matters most.

Imagery that arrives too late to act on

Commercial satellite passes are scheduled by someone else and defeated by cloud, so recent change to structures, tracks and clearing is simply not in the record.

Boundary monitoring on protected land

The challenge
A protected area too large and too remote to patrol continuously, where clearing and unrecorded structures are found long after the work was done.
The deployment
Aerial capture on a repeating cycle, each pass differenced against the last to isolate new clearing, new access tracks and structural change.
The result
Change surfaced by location and date, so enforcement is directed at where the ground has actually altered rather than spread across the whole area.

Critical site terrain and access baseline

The challenge
Emergency access, drainage and sight lines around an installation are planned from records that predate years of vegetation growth and site modification.
The deployment
Canopy-penetrating LiDAR and high-resolution capture over the site and its approaches, classified to separate ground, vegetation and structure.
The result
A measured terrain and asset model of the site and its surroundings, and a baseline later captures can be compared against.

Platform evaluation for procurement

The challenge
Procurement authorities need to know what is deployable and supportable in their own operational context, which a conceptual showcase cannot answer.
The deployment
Operational demonstrations and Uji Nilai evaluations run with senior leadership across the services. AECA has been the authorised Quantum Systems dealer since 2019, showed the Vector and Twister platforms at the Military UAV and Air Defense Systems conference in Kuala Lumpur, and attended Defence Services Asia 2026 as a subject matter expert.

Evaluation cycles shortened, with systems assessed for immediate deployment alongside the localised maintenance, training and lifecycle support that keeps them flying.
